Today G*Y*P*O have taken 55 young people to Leeds skatepark (The Works). It was a very busy day with another 100 young people already in the skatepark and that was not including our young people! That just shows That Indoor Skateparks are very popular, even in the summer time.
GYPO AGM will take place on the 27th of July 7:00pm at Trin down Trinity Road Cleethorpes. The AGM is open to anyone who is interested in what GYPO have been up to in the last year, New members will be giving a presentation on what skills they can bring to the committee and GYPO will discuss new changes and future plans. Soft drinks and a small buffet will be available we hope to see you there.

Still some places left on the trip to the Works Skatepark in Leeds forms are available from Forw4rd in Cleethorpes. Money needs to be paid by Wednesday 7th July please make cheques payable to Giving Young People Opportunities or pay cash when you hand in your form.

Urban Sports Steering group meetings are being moved from Kent St Resource Centre to Trin Centre down Trinity Road Cleethorpes the first meeting will take place on Tuesday the 6th of July 7:00 – 9:00 and from then on the meetings will be the first Tuesday of every month. These meeting are for anyone wanting to get involved with GYPO projects.
New tee’s from a collaboration with SVSH. Costing £20 with £5 from each tee sold going to GYPO, get em’ whilst they last from Forw4rd this weekend!

A big thanks goes to NIc and Elliot from Blow Abbott Accountants who raised £300 + for the cause after completing a gruelling 10k run in hot conditions in Hull. First time weve had anybody do fundraising for us , hopefully there will be more to come in the future, Gaz and Goz have been discussing doing Landsend to John o groats next year, was trying to get them to do it on BMX but they not man enough for that!
