Poor Oliver
Not wishing to be outdone or feel left out of Wakey's 'I have f**cked my face gang", Oliver has decided to get some facial injuries of his own today. Apparently whilst doing a girly wallride off a curbslope, his front wheel missed said curb and he got sent OTB. Should make a recovery soon though, and it isn't gonna stop him form making his trip to London/Brighton/Newquay which will be starting tomorrow. What a trooper!

Poor Mat
Wakey took a tumble the other day, slamming his face into the side of a concrete quarter. He took a hard whack to the swede, hurt his jaw and smashed up his teeth and generally got pretty beat up - as you can see from the photo. He is currently at home recovering (girlfriends house not the caravan). Get well soon mat!!

Oliver has a new job lined up as a stunt and face-double for Max in popular TV real life documentary, Hollyoaks. I for one am rather jealous as he will get to work alongside one of the most talented method actors in the UK, Ellis Hollins (Tom). Good luck Oliver.

Bowl Of Soup
The bowl is getting there, Sass sent over these snaps - looks like it is pretty much gonna be done in a week or two! I'm sure when it's all finished you'll be the first to know on here.
Apparently the trails are running good, Sass and Stanny have been getting the 20ft's dialled in, no doubt some kids will send themselves over them and break some stuff.
I have been riding at Epsom over the last weekend - bout 30 min train journey from me - awesome trails, and well sound locals. Hopefully be frequenting that place for the foreseeable future. Camden bowl sessions have been pretty regular too, although all this hot weather has brought out a million snaking skater kids, so drinking a beer seems like a better option than fighting for a chance to drop in.
Oliver is getting new forks, he claims that its because he cant line his bars up properly cos they have a curve in them. I think he just got fed up of the ridicule and questions. "Did you know your forks are bent?". Him and Gozza are embarking on a southern roadtrip in June. Spending 4 or 5 days here in London then heading to Newquay to argue about who is the best at surfing.

New Clethorpes Bowl Taking Shape
Sass sent me these photos through of the new bowl in Cleethorpes taking shape, hopefully it won't be too long now! You can see that they have piled up the hardcore bases for the decks, and you can see the shape of the transitions outlined. Exciting.

The Charger - Bike Check
Oliver sent me some snaps and a spec for his bike, requesting that I do some form of bike check. The Charger certainly ain't no pro rider and i don't think anyone looks up to him, so im not sure why you would be nterested in this. Despite this, his bike does look pretty slick at the moment, so I thought I would agree to sticking it up here - not least so that kids can find out what pegs his size 12's adorn during those famous mini-deck-peg-manuals. Anyone who can guess the reccuring theme in Olivers choice of parts, wins a snotty kiss.

Attila Gang Bangers Comp
Cleggy is sticking on a jam up at the Works Skatepark in Leeds on March the 1st. Its a team affair, with gangs of 4-6 riders competing against one another. Our team is currently under construction, and involves Pete, Oliver, Myself and Foxy, we are currently recruiting for members who can actually ride bikes, so that we don't look like a gang of drunks.

Gypsies On Tour In NZ
Me and Gaz 'avin it in New Zealand. Skateparks in every little town, few not worth ridin but a few good'uns. Some nice trails, but none up to the standard of Gypos!. Met up with Tom and Wozzy, had bit of partying and a few riding sessions. Apart from Gaz's driving, did first extreme activity in queens town t'other day. Did a bungy and was brickin' it like little kids before hand! Was buzzin when done it though! Well nice place, Well nice people and no little chav scums! Hope you've all been diggin' in me absence! Peace brothers.

Garret Reynolds looks like a horse, but sure can ride bikes, and Gary Young didn't do too bad. Bowls News
The concrete bowls should be started by mid February, and the contractors have said that the project should take around 5 weeks to complete (with the weather on their side). So we should be looking the end of March, wooo, just in time for our summer then! Haaaa. Oh, Goz is project managering the whole thing, so that may throw a spanner in the works.
Free Beer
I get free beer at work. All day everyday, from the frequently restocked fridges in the 'soft area' of the office. This is a good ploy on their part to keep staff happy. Well done. Ben - 20/06/08
