Bmx Freestyle In 2012 Olympics
according to an article on bikebiz.com bmx freestyle is to be included in the 2012 olympics in london. while this might not be the best thing for bmx as we know it it could make getting funding for parks etc. a lot easier and get the council moving on helping some indoor facilities sorted out round here.

Wednesday Blog
Down here in 'that London' we make a concerted effort to split up the working week by riding the bowl (Cantelowes, Camden) every Wednesday night, followed by a few drinks and important discussions at the pub. We got so excited by this fact that myself and Chris G (of 'having short arms and legs' fame) decided to get some stickers made. Then, more excitement followed, and we decided to make a website to show off on - it's just gone live today! Go take a look!

Full Circle??
I noticed some sort of never ending circle of 'sports' the other day. Now this theory might not be applicable to all scenarios, but i recon it makes some sort of sense - so much so, that I drew a crap diagram to illustrate it.
I'll elaborate... A lot of riders nowadays seem to spend half their time trying to look like they are skateboarding on a bike (fakie, foot high hopscotch, no speed kids) which leads me to belive that they would probably rather be skaters. Now, the skaters who they love to try and emulate, all seem to want to get into fixed gear bikes - at least round this neck of the woods - maybe its cos they are pretty en-vogue at the moment? Then you got a big stupid movement of fixed gear riders all trying to do (crap basic) BMX tricks on their bikes (and yes yes, i know, i have a 'fixie' but i don't do tricks, unless doing skids and crashing into pedestrians are classed as tricks?). So you see it all goes full circle...
It's not a very sound theory, or even a theory at all really. Plus i haven't accounted for those wierd mountain biker skatepark riders or other such anomalies, but nevermind. Feel free to disagree,

Nike Banksgiving Jam

Grimsby Street
No, not the courts and Do-It-All wallride. I saw a street near Brick Lane in East London (famous for being full of caunts) and it's name was Grimsby Street. Not sure why someone has written R.I.P underneath though, maybe they have been to GY, haaaa. That's it.
Oh actually, Dan Cook and Carl Littleman from Hull are at mine at present. They flew back in from a 5 month trip around Canada and the USA. It was well mint by all accounts! They are feeling it though being back in this shitty cold wet weather - having been in Austin for the last 6 weeks...

Turndowns
I like turndowns, and it's a good job because i can't do f*ck all else. Here is a post I saw on the Profile site about that very stunt. I remember the first time i saw a photo of a turndown, it was at some old Hoffman BS contest i think and was shot from behind. It took me about 5 minutes of staring to work out what the hell was going on.

Harrow Skatepark - Milking It To Death.
The Historic Harrow skatepark in London has long gone right? I read it in Ride, its been demolished. Think again, and have a closing jam... again. There's rumours of a jam there this weekend. Saturday is bike day, Sunday is JCB jam day. See you sunday!
